The Seven Spice Gin recipe is a nod of respect to the versatility of Australian native botanicals, featuring a delicate blend of seven local ingredients that have been carefully balanced with traditional juniper to create a contemporary Australian Gin.
Makes for a refreshing (yet complex) Gin Tonica or a savoury Red Snapper cocktail.
Botanicals:
Native lemongrass, mountain pepper leaf, aniseed myrtle, finger lime, wattleseed, bush tomato and lemon myrtle
Aroma:
Unmistakeable juniper with light citrus and botanical aromas
Flavour:
Full-bodied and complex with warm peppery and savoury palate, with a delicate salinity and lingering toasted notes
Finish:
Long savoury and mild peppery finish with hints of chocolate at the end
