Two Englishmen walk into a bar…

Our gins are born from hustle and shaped by relentless experimentation, so when Co-Founder Mikey was having a pint in the pub with his long-time friend of 30 years, Jason, and they were chatting about their shared obsession with Australian produce and bar culture, Mikey mentioned his bold Sloe Gin idea – To turn a classic English Christmas drink into an Australian summer time Spritz, neither of them could resist the challenge.

It lit the fuse for a collaboration – A very English gin, reimagined, the Australian way.

Our Distiller, Tim, found Sloe Berries foraged in Tasmania. They were then steeped for months in Hickson House Australian Dry Gin and Crawley’s clean and bright Sugar Syrup.

Crawley’s Bartender Syrup is made from 100% Australian natural sugars, sourced directly from Australian farms, and impeccably balances the rich tart complexity of the sloe berries.

The result? A gin full of momentum and swagger.

A deep carmine glow, with hints of purple and ruby. Velvet richness and a harmony between berry tartness, a subtle sweetness, and Hickson House Australian Dry Gin’s native botanicals.
